In December 2024, that era came to an end. The building was demolished to make way for a new bike lane, leaving employees without jobs and the city without one of its most beloved institutions.
But the story didn’t end there.
Ahead of the Norwegian Cup Final, a bold idea emerged: to bring Rich. Bar back to life—recreated outside Ullevaal Stadium, giving fans a chance to relive a piece of Sarpsborg’s history, if only for a day.
Bringing back a lost institution to make thousands of fans feel at home, even when away.
